Accelerating Experience - New Paper Published

On October 28, 2014, Dr. Pandikow has presented his paper "SE Journeyman Years - Learning Project Success by Doing" at this year's EMEA Systems Engineering Conference in Cape Town, South Africa.

The paper proposes to apply the craftsman tradition of "journeyman years" to accelerate the gaining of experience after formal education, resulting in faster access to qualified work forces. During the journeyman years, the craftsman traditionally travel for 2-3 years in order to both apply what they have learned during apprenticeship, but also learn to manage the daily life of a professional.

The paper is published as part of the proceedings of the EMEA Systems Engineering Conference 2014 of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), October 2014, ISBN 978-0-620-58907-9.
